If you live in Norway and want to start bokashi composting, you have probably run into the same wall: the European bokashi specialists you find online either don't list Norway in their checkout, or they say "EU only" and you are not sure if that includes you.
Norway is in the EEA, not the EU, which means many smaller shops default to EU-only shipping without checking. We went through every bokashi supplier in our curated partner index and checked their actual shipping policies. Here is the honest answer.
## The Short Answer
Among the European bokashi specialists we have vetted, **one confirmed partner ships bokashi supplies to Norway, and two do not**. The good news: the one that ships is a well-established specialist with bokashi starter sets, bran refills, and decades of experience.
## Wurmwelten.de — Ships to Norway (on request)
Wurmwelten.de is a German worm-composting and bokashi specialist that has been breeding its own composting worms and selling bokashi gear since 2005. Their checkout includes Norway (Norwegen) in the delivery-country selector, and their shipping page confirms it with the note "Nur auf Anfrage — Achtung Zollbestimmungen" (on request — please note customs regulations).
This means: you can order from them, but the shipping cost is not automatically calculated — you need to send them a request or complete the order process and they will confirm the shipping cost. They add roughly 5 extra days on top of standard delivery times for Norway.
Their [Plastia Bokashi Komposter Starter-Set](https://www.wurmwelten.de/shop/plastia-bokashi-komposter-starter-set-grau.html) includes 1 kg of bokashi flakes (bran), an instruction manual, and a fermentation bucket — everything you need to start. They also sell bokashi bran refills separately.
## Bokashi Compost (Belgium) — Does Not Ship to Norway
Bokashi Compost (bokashicompost.be) is a Belgian bokashi specialist with a strong product line, including the Bokashi Design Ocean composter made from reclaimed fishing nets. Their terms and conditions restrict deliveries to Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. Norway is not included.
## Bokashi.se (Sweden) — Does Not Ship to Norway
Bokashi.se (Bokashiworld in Sweden AB) has been fermenting its own bokashi bran in Säffle from Swedish wheat bran since 2008, and they guarantee lifetime replacement of tap-bucket parts. Their terms state: "Vi levererar enbart inom Sverige" (we deliver only within Sweden). Norway is not included.
## What About the Other Shops on Our Index?
Our full partner index includes several composting and worm-farming shops — Wurmkiste (Austria), SUPERWURM (Germany), La Ferme du Moutta (France), Eco-Worms (France) — but they either specialise in vermicomposting (worm-based) rather than bokashi fermentation, or their shipping to Norway is not confirmed.
We also have a [dedicated guide to shipping to Norway](/shipping-to-norway) from all our partner shops, which covers the broader picture: which of our vetted partners ship to Norway, what they sell, and what to expect on delivery.
## What We Recommend
If you are in Norway and want to start bokashi composting, Wurmwelten.de is the verified option. Their Plastia Bokashi Starter-Set is a complete kit, and the on-request shipping process is standard for EU-to-Norway orders involving customs-cleared goods. Order the starter set, then buy bokashi bran refills separately.
